Piesse ,and Mrs. Piesse, Montpelier
Road, with Mr. Gerald Adams, son of
the late Mr. Gerald Adams., and Mrs.
Adams, was celebrated in the Nixon
Chapel of St. David's Cathedral, on
Tuesday, October 30. The ceremony
was performed by Archdeacon Whitington.
the wedding was a very quiet
one, only the mothers of the bride and
bridegroom, and a few immediate relations
being present. The bride wore
a pretty gown of pale pink silk, with
georgette berthe, and black tulle hat
edged with ospreys. Mrs .Piesse wore
a very becoming grey costume, black
hat, with flowers. Mrs. Adams, fawn
coloured gown, black hat. Archdencon
Whitington made feeling reference to
the memorial window in the Nixon
Chapel, erected to the memory of the
bride's brother, Stanley, who fell in the
war. After the ceremony the bride's
mother entertained the wedding party
at Heatherton Hotel, The bride travelled
in a fawn frock, blue hat. and fur
coat.
