  The Mercury (Hobart, Tas. : 1860 - 1954) Sat 12 Aug 1922 Page 6 PERSONAL It is with regret that we have to record the death of Mr Francis H Piesse, manager of the Huon.Channel Steam- ship Co which took place late last night He had a long illness, and a short while ago was believed to have recovered but his condition again be- came serious, and he was placed in a private hospital For many yeaTs ho had been connected with the river steamers, and conducted the business m such a way as to be of great assistance to the people they served He was for several years a Warden of the Marine Board, on which his experience and judgment were most useful His death will be regretted by a wide circle of friends and by many others who es- teemed him for his personal worth The Mercury (Hobart, Tas. : 1860 - 1954) Mon 14 Aug 1922 Page 1 Family Notices PIESSE. - ON August 11th, 1922, at Private Hospital, Hobart, Francis Henry, beloved husband of Millicent Piesse, aged 58 years.
