DIVORCE PETITIONS
FORSYTH V. FORSYTH
Noel Harford Forsyth, carpenter, of
Launceston, petitioned for a decree nisi
for divorce from Hilda May Forsyth,
on the ground of desertion, He was
represented by Mr. N. L. Campbell
(Archer, Hall, and Campbell).
Petitioner said he was married at
Launceston. As a result ot certain In-
formation he returned home about
10.30 a.m. one day In September, 1923.
He, took, off his .boots and searched the
house. In. the front sitting-room he
found his wife embracing the baker.
He hit the baker over tho head with a
piece of wood. About four days later
he returned home to find that his wife
had left, and had taken thé youngest
child, a baby, with her. She left the
eldest child at home. He found that
his wife had gone to Melbourne. Some
time later the baker referred to also
went to the Mainland.
Alfred Neville Forsyth, petitioner's
brother, gave evidence, and a decree
nisi was granted.
