GOLLEDGE- FLEMING
A pretty wedding, which, caused considerable interest locally was celebrated by the Rev Father Donleavy in them Sacred, Heart Church on Wednesday, when Miss Florence May Flemming, only daughter of Mr and Mrs E. M. Fleming, of Ross Hill was joined in the holy bonds of matrimony to Mr Clarence Joseph Golledge, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. . C. Golledge
of Henderson street. The bride, who was escorted to the altar by her father, who subsequently gave her away, was charmingly attired in a handsome frock of white georgette and
silver lace, with a neatly-cut tulle, veil held in position by a circlet of orange blossoms. Her bouquet was of roses and fern, bound with tulle streamers. Two bridesmaids, the Misses Thelma and Gladys Golledge, sisters of the bridegroom, were in at tendance. Miss Thelma Golledge selected a creation, of apricot georgette, wore a tulle bandeau and carried a
bouquet composed of golden roses and fern tied with streamers of tulle, while Miss Gladys Golledge was prettily attired in a dainty frock of powder-blue georgette; she wore a tulle bandeau to match, her frock, and carried a bouquet of pink roses and fern tied with tulle streamers. The best man was Mr. Gordon O'Shannessy, and the groomsman, Mr. Gordon Fleming, brother of the bride. After the ceremonv, the bride's mother; smartly gowned in a frock of saxe-blue, with hat to match, and carrying a posy of pink stocks, received the guests at the Oxford Casino. She was as isted by Mrs. Golledge, who chose a smartly-tailored navy frock, with hat to match, and carried a posy of mauve stocks. Later the happy couple left
on their honeymoon, which is to be spent in Sydney and on the South Coast. The bride travelled in a frock of figured silk, with hat and shoes to tone. Mr. and Mrs. Golledgee future
home will be in Inverell. (The brial bouquets were the artistic work of Mrs. Hurle, Belgravia).
