Possible Death
The Horsham Times (Vic. : 1882 - 1954) Friday 6 December 1907 p 3
The death occurred on the 2nd inst., of Mr. George Forsythe, at his father's residence, near Noradjuha. After an illness lasting a little over a year, this fine young specimen of manhood was claimed a victim by that dread disease, consumption. Deceased, who was 27 years of age, served his country with the sixth Battalion Commonwealth Horse in the South African war. - He was an ac- tive member of the Noradjuha Rifle Club, and as a mark of comradeship the members of the club accorded him a semi-military funeral at the Nurrabiel Cemetery on Wednesday, where his remains were buried beside those of his late mother. The deceased was a highly respected and exemplary young man, and much sympathy is expressed with his father, brothers and sisters, in their sad bereavement.
