MOORE- McPHEE
WEDDING
IN ST. ANDREW'S PRESBYTERIAN
CHURCH this afternoon the wedding was
solemnised of Miss Estelle Jean McPhee.
younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P
McPhee, Auchenflower, to Mr Harry
Wentworth Moore, elder son of Mr. and
Mrs. H. R. Moore, Eagle Junction.
Rev. Mervyn Henderson officiated, and
the bride's father gave her away. She
wore a full length frock of beauty pink
chenille, sheer mounted on satin. Cut on
peasant line, it featured a draped bodice
and short cowled sleeves, finished by
velvet bows to match those at the waist.
Her summer felt hat was arranged with a
veil which fell over her face when she
entered the church. She also wore an old
chain and pearl necklet and carried a
rope of pink roses and cream frangi-
pani.
HYACINTH BLUE.
The only bridesmaid. Miss Elva Cannon,
was frocked in hyacinth blue chenille
sheer over satin, cut with a shirred panel
in front of the soft bodice. Scalloping
gave a finish to the short sleeves, and the
waist was fashioned in cummerbund effect.
She added a hat to tone and carried a
bouquet of pink radiance roses.
The bridegroom's brother, Mr. Allan
Moore, attended him a best man.
The reception was held at the Can-
berra. where the decorations were in pink
tonings. Mrs. McPhee (mother of the
bride) favoured brown sheer mousse
trimmed with teal appliques and allied
with a brown felt hat and a bouquet of
Talisman roses. Colver crepe mousse and
a black grosgrain hat were the choice of
Mrs. Moore (mother of the bridegroom).
On leaving for the honeymoon, which
will be spent touring the Northern River
district of New South Wales, the bride
dorned blue tarn romance crepe defined
by a quilted cummerbund. She added
burgundy accessories.
