CRAMPTON-WILLIAMS.
Pink gerberas decked St. Thomas'
Church of England, Toowong (Q.),
recently, for the marriage of Miss
Doris May Kathleen Williams, eldest
daughter of Mr and Mrs G. L. Wil-
liams, Stanley Terrace, Taringa, to
Mr George Russell Crampton, only
child of Mr and Mrs G. S. Crampton,.
Fairley Street, Indooroopilly, which
was celebrated by Rev. S. Atherton.
The bride, who was given away by
her father, wore a frock of pastoral
pink romaine appliqued with satin
leaves, allied with a coat of prairie
rose bagatelle finished with sequins.
Her hat and accessories were of
black and her spray of pink camel-
lias.
Miss Elsie Hasemann chose an off
white ensemble with black accessor-
ies. Mr Jack Miller was best man.
The reception was held at the Can
berra. On leaving for the honey-
moon, to be spent at the South
Coast, the bride featured mist grey
wool jersona, with black accessories.
[The bridegroom is the grandson
of the late Mr H. R. and Mrs Cramp-
ton, of Hunter Street, Singleton.]

DEATH OF MR.
G. R. CRAMPTON
The death has occurred after
a brief illness of Mr. George
Russell Crampton, of Fairley
Street, Indooroopilly. Mr.
Crampton, who was 33, had
been a member of the compos
ing staff of the "Brisbane Tele
graph" for 18 years. He served
with the A.I.F. for four years.
He is survived by Mrs. Cramp-
ton. '
