Plaintiff said her husband's name was George Allen Forsyth, and they were married in Carlton in 1888. A fortnight ago he was summoned to the court for abusive language and fined, and had since not come near his home. She had three children to support. It was not the first time he had deserted her. Mr Perry, P.M., said the time that had elapsed was too short to con stitute desertion, and advised a renewal of the application in one week.
