PAGAN - McDONALD.
At St. Andrew's Presbyterian
Church, Horshamn recently, the mar
riage of Edith second daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. C. W. S. McDonald. "Innis
vale," Noradjuhn.,to Mr. Walter Lind
Isay Pagan, was celebrated; by the Rev.
J. Fairlie Forrest. The groom is the
only son of Mr. and Mrs W. Pagan, of
Barkly Street. North Fitzroy.
A gown of tulle" with silver lame
applique; worn over satin, was chosen
by the bride, and she carried a shower
bouquet of agapanthus and clethra.
Her embroidered tulle veil was kindly
loaned by Mrs.D. McKenry. The
groom's sister, Miss Helen Pagan, at
tended the bride. She wore corn flower
blue tulle over satin made on similar
lines to the bride's frock and an old
world styled picture hat in natural
tonings trimmed with blue velvet. She
carried pink carnations and gladioli.
Mr. Noel McDonald, brother of the
bride, was bestman. Mrs. A. E.: Kim
berley was the organist and during the,
signing of the register Miss Rona Riley
sang "Thanks Be to God." -
The guests were received at the
Town Hall Supper Room by Mr. and
Mrs. McDonaild who were assisted by
Mr. and Mrs. Pagan. Mrs. McDonald
wore a brown suit in fine wool with a
green picture hat, matching green accessories. and a green orchid: spray.
The groom's mother pinned a spray of
pink waterlilies and rosebuds to her
black suit, which was trimmed with
pink and she wore black accessories
Following the reception a large number, of friends were entertained at a
social event during which items
were contributed by Miss: Noela Bartlett and Messrs. John Rissmann, John
Muller, Alan Walter and O'Dymke.
When leaving for the honeymoon,
which was spent at Cowes, the bride
wore a honey colored moss crepe frock
with brown accessories and a matching
spray of roses and gladioli.
