      "Funeral Notice. THE Friends of the late GEORGE FORSYTHE are respectfully invited to follow his remains to the place of interment, Kalgoorlie General Cemetery. The Funeral cortege will leave the Government Hospital at 9 a.m. THIS DAY; GOF. J. LEHENY & CO, Undertakers. Egan-street East.".

      THE HORSHAM TIMES, Tuesday 22 March 1898.
      "His friends will learn with surprise and regret of the death of Mr. George Forsythe, son of Mr. Robert Forsythe, of Nurrabiel, and well-known throughout the Wimmera dis- trict. The deceased gentleman left the Wimmera some 14 months ago for Western Australia, where he succumbed to typhoid fever a few days since. He leaves a wife and two children to mourn their loss.".
