FORSYTH- MARCHANT.
A very pretty wedding was celebrated at St. Augustine's Church of England on Wednesday morning last, when Mary, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. Marchant, of Nullamanna, was joined in the holy bonds to Eric Raymond, second son of Mr. and Mrs. James Forsyth, also of Nullamanna.
The Rev. E. H. Stammer was the celebrant.
The bride was very handsomely attired, in a beautiful frock of white ivory crepe de chene. She wore the customary wreath and veil and carried a lovely shower bouquet of artificial lilies, roses and ferns. Miss Lily Stieger, friend of the bride, was bridesmaid. Her frock of white ivory crepe de chene was trimmed with pink imitation ostrich feather and pink scarf to match. She also wore a pink georgette mop cap and carried a shower bouquet of artificial lilies, roses and ferns Mr Edward Marchant, brother of the bride, was best man.
A reception was held at McKenzie's refreshment rooms where the usual toasts were duly honored The bride's mother wore a handsome frock of nigger brown, trimmed with fur and the bridegroom's mother, a smart knitted costume.
The bridegroom's present to the bride was a Xylonite brush and comb and to the bridesmaid a silver manicure set The bride's present to the bridegroom was a pair of gold sleeve
