The Inverell Times Tuesday 30 March 1926 p 4
MRS. GEO. FORSYTH.
A feeling of general sorrow, tinged by deep sympathy with the bereaved husband and family, was occasioned in Bukkulla and surrounding districts by the news of the death of Mrs. May Florence Forsyth, wife of Mr. George Forsyth, of "Cedar Grove,' ' Bukkulla village. The deceased lady, who was only 31 years of age, had been ailing for only four weeks and her condition became so serious that she was twelve days ago, brought in to a private hospital at lnverell, where, despite the best of medical and nursing attention, she passed away. Deceased is survived by her sorrowing husband and a family of five, whose ages range from a baby 12 months to the eldest, a child of nine years and eight months. The children's names are Verdun, Jean, Kathleen, Keith, and Sarah. The deceased lady was a member of a well-known and respected Bukkulla family, the Grills, being a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Grills.
She is survived by her parents and six brothers, Messrs. William (Bukkulla), Ernest, Leslie, Charles, Clifford and Stanley, all of whom reside at the family home, "Glenorchy,"
There are also thre sisters, Mrs. H. Miller (Mandoic), Mrs. E. . Steiger (Bukkulla), and Miss Vera Grills. Mrs Forsyth has been known to most residents from her girlhood, and the bereaved family have been the recipients of innumerable expressions of sym pathy.
The funeral to the Presbyterian portion of lnverell cemetery took place yesterday afternoon, when the service was read by the Rev. Mr. Stone. Mr C. S. Thorley had charge of the mortuary arrangements.
