Everyone connected with shipping interests of this port for the past half Century knew Mr John Forsyth, who died at his residence, Montpelier-street, to-day at the age of three score years and ten. In the ' Albatross Parliament ' days the subject of this notice took no small part is the nautical discussions initiated by that institution. As a sailmaker he was without an equal. In business matters his word was his bond, and in all circles that he moved he commanded respect. Deceased attended the wedding of one of his daughters about three weeks ago, and shortly afterwards was taken ill, and gradually passed away.
