  The Inverell Times Wednesday 26 April 1939 p 4 Article MRS. D. FORSYTH As briefly reported in our issue of the 19th instant, the death occurred on the 16th instant, at Craignish private hospital, of Mrs. H. J. J. H. Forsyth, wife or Mr. David Forsyth, of Ashford. Deceased was born in the year 1888. and had thus attained the age of 51 years. She had resided at Ashford practically all her life. Being of a lovable disposition, the late Mrs. Forsyth was held in high esteem by all who knew her, and her death came as a great shock to the whole community. She leaves a sorrowing husband and family of fourteen to mourn their loss. There were seven sons and seven daughters, whose ages range from eight to thirty years, all of whom reside at Ashlord, except Mrs. E. H. Beveridge (The Willows, Bukkulla), Wallace (Texas), and James (Sydney). The interment was made at 4 p.m. on the 17th instant, in the church of England portion of the cemetery, the Rev. E. H. Stammer officiating at the graveside, while Mr. W. G. Gilhome had charge of the funeral arrangements.
