    • John was the second child of John and Catherine (Nee Mc Nutt ) Forsyth. He was born in Donegal Ireland and was the First of the Six brothers to come to Australia. He sailed on the "James Fernie" on 24 Oct. 1855 arriving in Moreton Bay on 24
      Jan. 1856.

      John was 24 years old when he left Ireland.

      John settled at "Ashwood Grove" in the Flinders Area of Queensland.
