FORSYTH-McKEATON.
A wedding of interest to residents of the Fassifern district was celebrated at St. Philips' Church, South Brisbane, on January 16, when the marriage was solemnised of Mr. Allan Robert Forsyth (fifth son of Mr. Samuel Forsyth and the late Mrs. Forsyth, Peak Crossing) and Miss Mona Elizabeth
M'Keaton (second daughter of Mr. R. M'Keaton, Warra, and Mrs. M'Keaton, South Brisbane). The bride, who was
given away by her uncle (Mr. W. Ryan), wore a bridal gown of ivory crepe de Chine, inlet with Chantilly lace. Her hand-embroidered cut tulle veil was worn in Madonna fashion,
and she carried a bouquet of arum lilies. Miss Thelma M'Keaton (sister of the bride), as bridesmaid, wore a
frock of shell pink mariette, and a picture hat. She carried a bouquet of cactus dahlias. Mr. Donald Forsyth (Rosewood) acted as best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at the residence of the bride's aunt (Mrs. W.Ryan), at Greenslopes. On leaving the reception the bride wore a Chan-
tilly lace coat over her bridal gown.
The bride's mother was gowned in floral mariette, with a hat to tone.
Subsequently the bridal pair left to spend the honeymoon at Southport, and in a tour of the Northern Rivers district. Mr. and Mrs. Forsyth intend to reside in future at Peak Crossing.
