For her wedding at St. George's
Church of England on Saturday to
Clarence John, son of Mr. and
Mrs. S. J. E. Sparks. Freda Ander-
son wore a gown of white emboss-
ed satin featuring a high neckline
with tight-fitting sleeves forming
a point over the hand and a skirt
which fell into a train. She wore
a long embroidered veil and car-
ried a shower bouquet of lilies and
chrysanthemums.
The bride, who is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Anderson,
was given away by her uncle, Mr.
N. F. Forsyth, and the ceremony
was performed by Canon F. H.
Lansdell.
The bridesmaids, Misses N. Sey-
mour, M. Evans and D. Ewan,
were dressed alike in hyacinth
blue crepe fashioned on the same
lines as the bride's frock. Their
shoulder - length matching tulle
veils were held in place with silver
halos, and they carried bouquets
of red dahlias. The train-bearer,
Phyllis Anderson, wore a full-
skirted white floral satin frock and
silver halo.
Mr. V. Reeves was best man, and
Messrs. P. Redshaw and K. Clarke
groomsmen. "My Prayer" was
sung by Miss N. Seymour.
When receiving guests at The
Lounge, the bride's mother wore a
blue suit with black accessories
and a spray of red roses. The
bridegroom's mother wore a black
suit to which she pinned a spray
of pink carnations. Her acces-
sories were black.
For travelling, the bride wore a
three-piece tweed suit and brown
accessories. The honeymoon is
