William Carnegie Codrington Forsyth Rear-Admiral William Carnegie Codrington Forsyth, Royal Navy (11 December, 1849 - 3 September, 1906) was an officer of the Royal Navy. Life & Career H.M.S. Britannia (Training Ship) Entrant September, 1863 Sub-Lieutenant William Carnegie Codrington Forsyth promoted to the rank of lieutenant with seniority of 1st November, 1871 On 7 August he was specially promoted to the rank of Commander, dated 11 July 1882 Forsyth was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1889.
