NOTT?FORSYTH
A wedding of interest to Richmond River residents was celebrated in the Presbyterian Church, Armidale, recently when Zona, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. Frank Nott, of
Armidale, was married to Arnold Robert, son of Mr. and Mrs. N.Forsyth, of Willoughby, Sydney.
The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, wore a frock of white French needlerun lace, with train inset, and tulle veil held in place with orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of frangipani and roses. The bride was attended by three bridesmaids, Misses N. Harridene (Sydney), Z. McCartney (Ballina), and M. Nott (Armidale), who were frocked alike in honey spotted net work, with autumn toning in their sashes. They carried bouquets of autumn flowers and frangipani.
The bridegroom was attended by Messrs. Reg. Nott, Harry Meise and Jack Nott, of Armidale, as best man and groomsmen.
During the signing of the register, the bride's aunt, Mrs. A. L. Stewart (Tamworth) sang "My Prayer." The ushers were Messrs. M. Lamb and H.Farrar, of Armidale.
The reception was held at "Regzona," where the guests were received by the bride's parents, assisted by the bridegroom's sister, Mrs. Brown. Mrs. Nott chose mulberry marocain, and carried a bouquet of fuchsias, while Mrs. Brown was attired in white satin, with red satin coat, and carried a bouquet of red roses.
The bride's travelling frock was of black and white check taffeta, with black net epaulettes and frills, which she covered with a full length furcoat. Mr. and Mrs. Forsyth's home will be at Wee Waa.
