      BERTHA MARY FORSYTH.
After intense suffering, Mrs. Bertha M. Forsyth fell asleep at her home,'Waveney,' Rocklands Road, Wollstonecraft. Reared in a good old Methodist home, she was always loyal
to the Church of her father. She was a daughter of the late Howard Fleming, who for many years was senior circuit steward in the Willoughby circuit. For 35 years she and
her husband, Alderman R. C. Forsyth, haye been actively associated with the- Crows Nest Church. Mrs. Forsyth was of a very retiring disposition. She loved her home and lived for her family; a loyal wife and a loving mother. Her bright
and cheery nature gathered around her a large circle of friends. The esteem in which the deceased was held was manifested by the large and representative gathering at the funeral. The service at the home was conducted by the President of the Conference, Rev. H. C. Foreman, M.A., an old friend of the family.
The President delivered a gracious, tender and comforting message. He rejoiced to know that amidst her pain she had maintained a triumphant faith. The things unseen and eternal
were real to her. The body was laid to rest in the Northern Suburbs Cemetery. To the sorrowing husband and three daughters, Muriel (Mrs. George Peterson), Beryl and Cecily we extend our sympathy. W.M.R.
