Lennard Forsyth Jones (32), a mechanic, of Ryae, was crushed to death to-day when he was struck by a goods lift at Hall's furniture store, city. Jones was effecting repairs to a passenger lift in the well and was pinned against a cross beam by the goods lift, which was descending. He was dead when extricated by ambulance officers.
