  The Sydney Morning Herald (NSW : 1842 - 1954) View title info Sat 5 Apr 1919 Page 9 At Rose Farm, Cootamundra, the residence of Mrs W Corby, on March 19, the wed- ding was celebrated of Etta Maude, second oldest daughter of Mr and Mrs W Corby, and George Alfred, third eldest son of Mr and Mrs E J Forsyth, Glenarchy The Rev Norman Gardner officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of Ivory crepe de Chine, a wreath of orange blossoms, and veil arranged mob-cap fashion She carried a shower bouquet of white flowers and asparagus fern, with white ribbon stream- ers, which, with a cluster diamond brooch, was the gift of the bridegroom. Miss Iris Forsyth was bridesmaid, and wore a frock of white net over filet lace and carried a bouquet of white carnations and asparagus fern tied wilth white ribbon streamers. Her diamond cluster brooch was the gift of the bridegroom Mr Kenneth Corby acted as best man. The bride's gift to the bridegroom was a pair of engraved gold sleevelinks. The honeymoon was spent at Sydney and the Blue Mountains Tho bride travelled in a costume of navy cloth, with hat to match.
