The bride looked charmingly pretty in a neat fitting costume of white silk, trimmed with lace and orange blossoms with trained skirt, wreath, and veil. She also wore a beautiful gold brooch, the gift of the bridegroom. She was attended by two bridesmaids, her sisters Miss Lizzie and Miss Florrie Forsyth, in cream silk and lace trimmings, and their wrists were adorned with handsome gold bracelets, also gifts from the bridegroom. Mr. J. Oswald Forsyth acted as best man. After the ceremony there was a reception on the lawn, and the newly-wedded pair were deluged with rose leaves on their way thither. The mother of the bride was attired in a pretty and becoming costume of black silk trimmed with white silk and twine lace, and wore a jewel bonnet with black and white ospreys.
