WOMAN'S COLUMN.
An interesting wedding was celebrated in the Ryde Wesleyan Church on Wednesday afternoon by the Rev. W. E. Bourne, the contracting parties being Miss Margaret Forsyth, second daughter of Mr. John Forsyth, J.P., of Rosewall,' Ryde, and Mr. W. H. Kells, of Ryde. The church had been beautifully decorated by the members of the choir.
The bride, who was attended by three bridesmaids, was dressed in a pretty white corded silk gown trimmed with white brocaded silk, pearl passementerie, and lace. She also carried a lovely shower bouquet of white roses. The bridesmaids, Miss Lizzie and Miss Florence Forsyth, sisters of the bride, and Miss Priscilla Kells, sister of the bridegroom, were attired in cream silk costumes trimmed with lace, white bebe roses in the hair and carried shower bouquets of crimson roses and asparagus. On leaving the church Miss Foulcher played 'The Wedding March,' and the newly-married couple drove immediately to Rosewall, the residence of the bride's parents, where a reception was held. Among others present at the reception were Mrs. Forsyth (mother of the bride), costume of black silk trimmed with white silk and lace and bonnet to match, Mrs. Kells (mother of the bride groom), costume of grey cloth, trimmed with white silk, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Forsyth, sen. PROVISION IN WILL FOR WIFE
EQUITY JUDGE GRANTS BIGGER ALLOWANCE
Deciding that William Henry Kells, a Strathfield business man, had not made adequate provision in his will for his wife, the Chief Judge in Equity (Mr Justice Long Innes) yesterday ordered that she be paid £500 and £8 a week from- his £15,171 estate. Kells died last July, leaving his wife £5 a week. Mrs Kells, in an affidavit, said that they were married in 1902, when her husband was earning £3 a week. She said that she had given her husband considerable assistance, financial and otherwise, in his business, and had conducted their home on most economical lines. The main beneficaries under Kell's will were his brothers and sisters.
