Family Notices The Sydney Morning Herald (NSW : 1842 - 1954) Tuesday 1 April 1930 p 10 THORPE-March 31 1930 at 17a Raglan-street South Mosman Sarah Elisabeth dearly beloved wife of Frederick Ashley Thorpe and loving mother of Colin, Enid, Leyton, Jessie, Irma, Archie and Lois, aged 63 years. The Sydney Morning Herald Tuesday 1 July 1930 Page 7 LATE MRS. S. E. THORPE. Probate has been granted of the will of the late Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Thorpe, wife of Frederick Ashley Thorpe, company manager, of Cremorne. Mrs. Thorpe, who died on March 31 last, at the age of 63 years, leaving an estate valued at £25,977, appointed her son, Colin Forsyth Thorpe, and the Perpetual Trustee Company, Ltd., her executors and trustees. She bequeathed £100 to the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, and £50 each to the City Mission, and the Salvation Army in Sydney. Testator, after providing for legacies of £200 each for her two brothers, William Alexander Forsyth, and Archlbald Corbett Forsyth, left the residue of her estate in trust for the benefit of her children.
