    • Death Notice from the Stdney Morning Herald says died at Casseopeia, Near Holterman's Tower St Leonards (Holterman or Holterman's nuggett fame had a house with a tower (used for panorama photographs of Sydney) at Lavender Bay), Funeral notice says it will leave his lae residence of Alma Street St Leonards.

      Note at times St Leonards covered/refrred to North Sydney

      Les Forsyth, Researcher of the family of James and Margaret Forsyth (the tannery family) believed he died at the home of James and Margaret (called "Sofala" in Alma St St Leonards. No connection can be made between the two families.

      Thomas was buried in Gore Hill Cemetery
