ARTHUR FORSYTH The death occurred, in the District Hospital last night, of Mr. Arthur Forsyth, of 'Thornleigh,' Wallend been, who had been a patient in that institution for a month. The deceased, who was 59, is survived by his widow (nee Maude Manning) and two daughters, Mrs. Don McLeod and Miss Eileen Forsyth, and one son, Stan. Brothers are Mr. L. J. Forsyth, of 'Woodlands,' and Mr. G. A. Forsyth, of 'Gwandalan.' Sisters are Stella, (Mrs. Hope- Johnstone, Melbourne), Iris (Mrs. Ken Corby, Cootamundra), Myrtle (Mrs. S. Taylor, Melbourne), Gwen (Mrs. W. J. Sheehan, 2 Lee ave., Ryde). Deceased was the son of the late Mr., and Mrs. Eddie Forsyth. He was born in Cootamundra, and carried on farming and grazing in the district all his life. He was a member of the Cootamundra Rifle Club, and during the war was an active member of the V.D.C. The funeral was to leave the Church of England, after a service, at 4.30 today.
