MRS. ELLEN FORSYTH
Mrs. Ellen Forsyth, 80, well-known, resident of Cootamundra and district, passed away in the Sacred Heart Hos
pital on Sunday, after a brief illness.
Mrs. Forsyth was the widow of the late Mr. E. J. Forsyth, of "Glenarchy," who died in 1922. She was born at Delegate in 1865, being a member of the well-known Mutch family.
In her childhood days the late Mrs. Forsyth lived on "Mannamite," now owned by Mr. Max McClintock. She
married at Cootamundra. After the death of her husband she came to live at Cootamundra, and has resided in
Temora street since 1943.
Sons and daughters are Arthur, Lew, George, of the Cootamundra district, and Stella (Mrs. Hope Johnson, Melbourne), Iris (Mrs. Ken Corby, Cootamundra), Myrtle (Mrs. E. S. Taylor, Melbourne), and Gwen (Mrs. W. J. Sheehan, Cootamundra).
Mrs. E. A. Williams, of Temora street, is deceased's only surviving sister. Brothers who predeceased her were Tom, Joseph, John, Robert, Sam, James, and George.
Even until a few months ago Mrs. Forsyth was a keen gardener. It was her big hobby in the later stages of
