The death occurred at 'Corinda,' Bowral, of Mrs Emily Susannah Forsyth, widow of the late Mr. Lucius Patrick Forsyth, formerly of 'Bonnle View,' Wallehdbeen, And mother of Wilfred (Wallendbeen), Glen (deceased). Roy (Burwood), Mollie (deceas ed), and Daphne Mrs. Cowie, Bowral). Deceased, who was be fore her marriage Miss Emily Corby, was born at 'Rose Farm,' Cootamundra. Mrs. Sam Roberts (Tillie, Dee Why.) Is the only surviving sister, and Mr. S. Corby (Dulwich' Hill) and Arthur (Kogarah) are step-brothers; For some years, the late Mrs. For syth and her 'daughter' 'Daphne lived at 'Karonga,' Wallendbeen. The funeral was to leave St. Mark's, Darlinghurst, this morning for the Northern Suburbs Crematorium, and the ashes will later be brought to the Cootamundra cemetery.

At Rose Farm, Cootamundra, the residence
of Mrs W Corby, on March 19, the wed-
ding was celebrated of Etta Maude, second
oldest daughter of Mr and Mrs W Corby,
and George Alfred, third eldest son of Mr
and Mrs E J Forsyth, Glenarchy The Rev
Norman Gardner officiated. The bride, who
was given away by her father, wore a gown
of Ivory crepe de Chine, a wreath of orange
blossoms, and veil arranged mob-cap fashion
She carried a shower bouquet of white flowers
and asparagus fern, with white ribbon stream-
ers, which, with a cluster diamond brooch,
was the gift of the bridegroom. Miss Iris
Forsyth was bridesmaid, and wore a frock of
white net over filet lace and carried a bouquet
of white carnations and asparagus fern tied
wilth white ribbon streamers. Her diamond
cluster brooch was the gift of the bridegroom
Mr Kenneth Corby acted as best man. The
bride's gift to the bridegroom was a pair of
engraved gold sleevelinks. The honeymoon
was spent at Sydney and the Blue Mountains
Tho bride travelled in a costume of navy
cloth, with hat to match.

MRS LUCIUS FORSYTH
The death took place suddenly at St. Luke's Hospital, Sydney, of Mrs. Milllcent Mary Linda Forsyth, wife of Mr Lucius Forsyth, of 'Woodlands" Cootamundra.
Deceased was 83
The late Mrs Forsyth had undergone a serious operation on Tuesday, and was reported to be doing well, but she collapsed suddenly. There are three daughters, Mary (Mrs. D. L. Mayger R. Ryde); and Joy (Mrs. W. A. Mayger Braldwood), and Kath ('Woodlands,' Cootamundra), and one son, Fred ('Wood- lands').
The late Mrs. 'Forsyth was a member of the well-known pioneer Corby family, being the eldest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs, W Corby.
The funeral will leave the Church of England, Cootamundra, after a service commencing at 4.15 tomorrow, afternoon.

SCOTT? COULTER? At the Methodist Church, North Sydney, on Wednesday afternoon, January 7, a wedding was celebrated between James J. Bain, only son of the late Mr. James Scott, of Stockton, N.S.W., and of Mrs. J. Scott, of North Sydney, and Margaret I., oldest daughter of Mrs. M. Coulter, of North Sydney. The ceremony was performed by Rev, B. Dianing, and the service was fully choral. The bride was given away by her brother. Mr. Crawford Coulter, of Yass, and the becoming bridal robe was of Ivory satin, trimmed with hand-made Valenciennes and designed with a court train worn with a Limerick lace veil. She carried a bouquet of roses, lilies of the valley, and heather, which, with a diamond solitaire ring, was the gift of the bridegroom. The chief bridesmaids were Miss Bessie Benard and Miss Lily Greenwood, cousins of the bride and bridegroom respectively, gowned alike in ivory crepe de chine, trimmed with frills of accordion-pleated Chantilly lace and Tangerine tinted ninon roses. They carried bouquets, which, with amethyst and ruby earrings, were gifts of the bride-groom. The bride was also attended by Miss Joan Forsyth and Miss Leslie Waite, who wore dainty lace frocks over silk, and carried early Victorian posies of cream roses. The latter with gold bangles were the gifts of the bride groom. There were two train-bearers, Miss Sylvia Sims and Master Douglas Richardson, the former wearing ivory satin and point lace, and a Nellie Stewart bangle, the gift of the bride. Mr. Leitch, of Melbourne. acted as best man, and Mr. Harold Sims, of Kamilarol, Millie, as groomsman. During the signing of the register Mr. Harry Campbell sang "Beloved, it is Morn." and Miss Stella Pincombe presided at the organ. The bride's mother were a gown of prune French Bengaline, trimmed with black and gold lace, and a toque to match. The bridegroom's mother was in black brocade, worn with a toque of blue and white. A reception was afterwards held at Sofala, where over 100 guests were entertained. Afterwards the happy couple left for Katoomba, the bride travelling in a toilette of mole crepe de chine, relieved with Saxe blue, and a mole hat arranged with blue plumes and pansies. By the death of Mrs Moore Sims of Kamilaroi Station, Bellata the Country Womens Association loses one of its earliest and greatest workers
When the first lion secretary toured the north-west Mrs Moore Sims held meetings at her station homestead one day at 11, 3, and in the evening so that all the district could attend to hear of the new work
Every year when she and her family came to Sydney for the hot weather she threw herself into the work of the metropolitan CWA branches and when money had been raised to establish a seaside rest house for outback women and children it was Mrs Moore Sims who with her husband found
the excellent corner site and cottage at Dee- why which was bought and became Keera House Mrs Moore Sims was appointed one of the first trustees of Keera and held that position until her death She was also president of her own blanch at Nallawa till this week She was a member of the CWA executive In 1925 1920 and 1927 and vice president in 1925 and 1926
Her greatest work of recent years was when with Mrs Mat Sawyer she collaborated In compiling the Coronation Cookery Book Since its first issue in May over 10 000 copies have been sold. Up till her illness she was trying out recipes for the new edition

Mrs Moore Sims was a foundation member of Keera House and Mrs Matt Sawycr a former State president who was closely, associated with her in the work, performed the opening ceremony

OBITUARY.
MR. ALEXANDER CRAIB.
INNISFAIL, August 18.
Thc death occurred at Innisfail to-
day of Mr. Alexander Craib, a very
old resident of Herberton, who had
been visiting his niece, Mrs. J.
Davey. Deceased was a brother of
the late Mrs. Tarrant, who had been
a well-known resident of Innisfail in
other days and who died there some
years ago. The late Mr. Craib will
be buried at Innisfail to-morrow
(Monday) afternoon, the funeral
cortege departing at 4.30 p.m.

OBITUARY
Mr. A. Craib
Mr. Alexander Craib, who passed
away in hospital on Sunday morning,
was a well-known resident of Her-
berton, where he spent over 40 years.
Mr. Craib was a native of Bank-
shire, Scotland, where he was born
almost 71 years ago. He came to Aus
tralia over half a century ago, and
finally made his home in the Her-
berton district, where he was engaged
as a cook.
Despite his age, deceased was in
good physical condition. Recently his
health was fairly good, and he was
able to get about and enjoy life. On
Wednesday he became ill, and entered
hospital on Saturday.
Mr. Craib resided with his niece,
Mrs. S. J. Davey, at East Innisfail.
His sister, Mrs. Hellen Tarrant, died
at Innisfail some years ago, and Mr.
Craib was the last member of the
family, although there are a number
of nephews and nieces. Mesdames S.
J. Davey, M. E. Toomes (Lancelot), D.
O. Robertson (Newcastle), H. Brown
(Hawthorne, Brisbane), and the late
Mrs. J. A. Wolff, Snr., of Mena Creek,
are nieces. The nephews are Messrs.
James Forsythe (Innisfail), and James
Badenock (Upper Barron).
The funeral moved from the Pres
byterian Church on Sunday, afternoon,
being well attended by relatives and
friends. The services were read by the
Rev. S. Dodds. The pallbearers were
Messrs. J. Forsythe, S. J. Davey, J. A.
Wolff, Jnr., A. Wardrop, W. Wardrop.

OBITUARY.
LATE MRS. TARRANT.
INNISFAIL; Sept. 6.
Thc death occurred at Innisfail today of Mrs. Helen Tarrant at an advanced age after a somewhat lengthy illness. Deceased, who has left a number of relatives, to mourn their
sad loss, at one time resided at Herberton. The funeral will take place at Innisfail on Monday morning.

MRS. HELEN TARRANT.
After an illness lasting since June, 1930, Mrs. Helen Tarrant died at her residence at Bunda street, East
Innisfail, on Sunday.
Mrs. Tarrant was an old and respected resident of North Queensland, where she had lived for more than 30
years. Born in Scotland in 1862, deceased came to Australia on the sailing, ship "Duke of Norfolk" more than thirty years ago and went to Herberton, where she resided until
about six years ago, when she came to Innisfail.
Mrs. Tarrant was predeceased some years ago by her husband and is survived by one son and five daughters.
The son is Mr. J. Forsyth (Innisfail),and the daughters are Mrs. J. A.Wolff (Miskin's Point), Mrs. H. Brown (Hawthorne, Brisbane), Mrs. D. O. Robertson (Myers Siding), and
Mesdames J. Toombe, and J. Davey, who live at Innisfail.
The funeral, which was largely at tended, proceeded to the Innisfail cemetery, where burial took place.
Rev. Baartz conducted a service at the home of the deceased and later officiated at the graveside.

MRS. HELEN TARRANT.
INNISFAIL, Sept 14.
After an illness lasting since July of last year, Mrs. Helen Tarrant died at her residence, Bunda-street, East Innisfail, on the 6th instant. Deceased was an old and respected resident of North Queensland, where she had lived for 30-odd years. Born in Scotland in 1862, she came to Australia on the sailing ship Duke of Norfolk, and went to Herberton,
where she resided and engaged in nursing until about six years ago, when she came to Innisfail. Mrs. Tarrant was predeceased some years ago by her husband, and is survived
by one son and five daughters. The son is Mr. J. Forsyth (Innisfail), and the daughters are: Mrs. J. A. Wolff (Miskin's Point), Mrs. H. Brown (Hawthorne, Brisbane), Mrs.
D. O. Robertson (Myers' Siding) and Mesdames J. Toombs and J. Davey (Innisfail).

black and her spray of pink camel-
lias.
Miss Elsie Hasemann chose an off
white ensemble with black accessor-
ies. Mr Jack Miller was best man.
The reception was held at the Can
berra. On leaving for the honey-
moon, to be spent at the South
Coast, the bride featured mist grey
wool jersona, with black accessories.

of the late Mr H. R. and Mrs Cramp-

Show with his waggon laden with exhibits of pigs and fowls, overbalanced himself and fell
in front of the wheel, which passed over his chest, crushing his ribs and causing internal
injuries, which resulted in his death prior to the attendance of his medical man, Dr Florance. The deceased was an old resident, and leaves a widow and large family.
