GOLLEDGE- FLEMING
A pretty wedding, which, caused considerable interest locally was celebrated by the Rev Father Donleavy in them Sacred, Heart Church on Wednesday, when Miss Florence May Flemming, only daughter of Mr and Mrs E. silver lace, with a neatly-cut tulle, veil held in position by a circlet of orange blossoms. Her bouquet was of roses and fern, bound with tulle streamers. Two bridesmaids, the Misses Thelma and Gladys Golledge, sisters of the bridegroom, were in at tendance. Miss Thelma Golledge selected a creation, of apricot georgette, wore a tulle bandeau and carried a
bouquet composed of golden roses and fern tied with streamers of tulle, while Miss Gladys Golledge was prettily attired in a dainty frock of powder-blue georgette; she wore a tulle bandeau to match, her frock, and carried a bouquet of pink roses and fern tied with tulle streamers. The best man was Mr. Gordon O'Shannessy, and the groomsman, Mr. Gordon Fleming, brother of the bride. After the ceremonv, the bride's mother; smartly gowned in a frock of saxe-blue, with hat to match, and carrying a posy of pink stocks, received the guests at the Oxford Casino. A Dulwich Hill Wedding of Inverell Interest
John Berkley served the Cross Church, Duwich Hill for the lmarriage of his sister, Marie Therese Berkley, and Vincent Gordon Golledge at St. Paul of the Cross Church, Dulwirh Hill.
The bride Is the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Berkley, of West Marrickville, and the bridegroom is the second son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Golledge. of Sydney.
Rev Fatther Mornan was the celebrant.
The wedding was a very pretty one and wns attended by numerous friends ot the young couple.
Mr. William Berkley escorted his sister to the altar and later gave her away.
She was a charming figure in an old world gown of lace and tulle. The lace skirt was most attractive with its long train and the front was caught at each side with sprays of orange blossoms to reveal a panel of tiny tulle trellis, edged with lace. A four tiered tulle veil was worn with a coronet and her bridal bouquet was made of white hyncinths and orchids.
Three sisters attended the bride. They were Patricia and Margaret (bridesmaids) and small Julie Berkley (flower girl). Mauve self-check organza over tafeta was the material chosen by the bridesmaids for their lovely gowns. Each was made with a very full skirt and a well fitted bodice, finished with a draped neckline caught with sprays of lilac. They wore Juliet caps to match and carried bouquets of pink and blue hyacinths.
Small Julie was charming in her role as flower girl. Her frock of mauve organza was most identical with those of the bridesmaids, except for the skirt, which was frilled and
trimmed with sprays of lilac and tulle. She carried a basket filled with pink and blue flowers.
Best man was the bridegroom's brother, Mr. Clarrie Golledge, and Mr. Bill McGrath was groomsman.
Mr. and Mrs. Berkley later entertained auout 60 guests at a reception at their home Mrs Berkley was very smart in a green woollen frock with black accessories.
The honeymoon was spent at Forster.
When leaving by plane on the honeymoon trip the bride wore an American Beauty gabardine suit and all black accessories.
Many cheques were among the numerous gifts received by the young couple, who have now made their home at Canley Vale.

FORT WORTH -- Helen Goss Forsyth, 92, a homemaker, passed away Sunday afternoon, Oct. 6, 2002.

Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Friday at Overton Park United Methodist Church. Following the service at her church, Helen will be laid to rest next to her husband, Harris McQueen Forsyth, in Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Brown, Owens & Brumley Funeral Home.

Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of the James L. West Special Care Center and Margie Fuentes. Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons, Allen Harris, Steven Linton, Aaron Forsyth, Austin Forsyth, Argyle Woodruff, Griffith Harris, Brian Weaver and Connor Kaemmerling.

Memorials: The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorials be given to the James L. West Center Continuing Education Fund or the employees Pride Award.

Helen Forsyth was released from her earthly life into communion with her Lord Jesus Christ and a reunion with family members who preceded her in the journey. Our "Nanny" will be greatly missed by her large family and many friends. We will always remember her saying, "If you love each other, you can do anything!" and "I love all my children!" Always including children by marriage as full-fledged family members, she trained her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in a strong work ethic that emphasized self-sacrifice and caring for family above all else.

Helen Forsyth was born in 1909 in Cincinnati, Ohio. The family soon moved to Birmingham, Ala., where her mother died when she was 6. Thus, she assumed the role of mother and caregiver for two sisters and a brother when she was very young. She was mother, grandmother and dedicated friend to many individuals throughout her life. Helen was attending Howard College (now Sanford University) in Birmingham, Ala., when she met Harris Forsyth in 1930. Within six weeks, they had eloped to Houston to begin a new life together. It has always been interesting to the family that they shared the same birthday, Nov. 2.

During the Depression, Harris and Helen traveled throughout South Texas and Louisiana as he worked as a safety engineer for Lone Star Gas on the original gas pipeline to the East Coast. During this time, they lived in Houston and New Iberia, La. Later, he worked oil fields in Kilgore and then for the Works Progress Administration (WPA) in Cleburne and Teague. He held several positions in El Paso before coming to Fort worth in 1944. She and Harris sang in Methodist church choirs in each place. After Harris died in 1970, Helen remained in their southside home until recently.

Helen taught home canning methods during World War II in El Paso, while she was a dietitian at a nearby school. Her kitchen skills were later used for many large spaghetti suppers for the Paschal Band Boosters Club and as the official chili supper cook for the Mothers' Auxiliary of Boy Scout Troop #9. Helen was twice president and tireless worker in the local PTA at E.M. Daggett schools and also served as an officer at the state level.

She and Harris joined Central Methodist Church (now Overton Park United Methodist) in 1944, and were loyal members of the Judge Burns Sunday School Class. As a choir member there until her 80s, she sponsored student musician scholarships and provided her famous pumpkin bread as a rehearsal snack. She was also responsible for raising funds for the final installation of the church pipe organ. She supported many other music organizations in Fort Worth, including the Fort Worth Symphony, Casa Manana and the Music Department of Texas Wesleyan University.

Helen was a member and former president of the Penelope Club. She also served as a board member of the Fort Worth Woman's Club. With her good friend, Mary Stewart, she co-founded the Serendipity Club. She was also a member of the Saturday morning group of TCU Women Exes, Phi Eta businesswomen's sorority, and a longtime TCU Horned Frog football fan.

Survivors: Daughter, Elizabeth Forsyth Harris and husband, Joseph, of Keller, their children, Louise Harris Woodruff and husband, Kip, of Watauga, Dr. Allen Harris and wife, Liz, of Hattiesburg, Miss., Dr. Margaret Walter and husband, Jeff, of Southlake, Heather Forsyth Harris of Boston, Mass., and Felicia Harris of McKinney; daughter, Carolyn Forsyth Linton of Fort Worth, her children, Donna Linton Kaemmerling of Arlington, Dr. Steven Linton and wife, Angelica, of San Diego, Calif., John Kaemmerling of Arlington; son, Arthur Richmond Forsyth and wife, Robyn, of Waxahachie, their children, Aaron Harris Forsyth and wife, Rachel, Austin McQueen Forsyth and Amy Maness of Denton, Janet and Brian Weaver of Waxahachie; and Sarah Forsyth of Fort Worth; 14 great-grandchildren; niece, Jacqueline Sligh of Nashville, Tenn.; and devoted caregivers, Margie Gillam Fuentes and Estella Cantu, both of Fort Worth. The family would also like to express our appreciation for the excellent and loving care of Helen by the entire staff of the James L. West Special Care Center.

WEDDING. GRAHAM-HEATH.
On Tuesday morning last, at the Presbyterian Church, Lucknow, the marriage of Mr. Allan L. Graham, of Foster, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Graham, of Mirboo North, and Miss Edna C. Heath, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Heath, of "The Pines," East Bairnsdale, was celebrated by the Rev. H. Carroll, B.A. The church, and with which the bride had been connected for many years, was most artistically decorated by her many friends and as the bride entered the church with her father, the wedding hymn, "The Voice That Breathed O'er Eden," was rendered by a number of Sunday school scholars,
Miss Alice N. Shaw presiding at the organ. The bride wore a beautifully draped gown of white embroidered net over white satin, with a square train, trimmed with orange blossom in a horseshoe design and carried a shower bouquet of white carnations and sweet peas, and wore the customary wreath and veil. Miss Millie Heath and Miss Kitty Graham acted as bridesmaids, with Miss Maudie Royle, as train-bearer. The dresses of the brides maids were of charmeuse satin, the first bridesmaid's being of ivory tint, whilse the second was of pale blue, trimmed with white chantilli lace and bead trimmings and white crepe de chene hats with ostrich ospreys, and dual streamers to match were worn; both carried posies of pink carnations. The train bearer looked very .neat in a frock of white embroidered voile. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr. Archie Graham,
as best man, and Mr. W. Heath acted as groomsman. After the ceremony the guests partook of the wedding breakfast at "The Pines." Mr. and Mrs. Grahanm left Bairnsdale by the afternoon train for Melbourne
The bride travelled in a costume of tan sponge cloth, relieved by Bulgarian trimmings and wore a black tagel hat trimmed with tan tulle and cowslips. Numerous and costly presents were received, including a tloral pedestal with jardiniere to match from the Yarram friends of the bride, with whom she has been associated for the past 14 months, and a silver tea and coffee service from the employes of the Foster Butter factory. The gift of the bride to the bridegroom was a gent's attache travelling case, whilst the bridegroom's present to the bride was a handsome feather boa, and the bridesmaids were presented with aqua marine and pearl earrings and the train bearer with a gold brooch set with pearls. A most enjoyable social evening at the residence of the bride's parents completed the day's festivities.
